This year it is:

The Making of the English Landscape with Andrew Bibby

Andrew is a journalist and writer who delves deep into the landscapes of 'middle England'.   Journeying from west Dorset to north Lincolnshire, he turns to social history, economics
and literature to explain why the countryside looks as it does. Harnessing Edward Thomas and John Clare, he visits Juniper Hill, inspiration for Flora Thompson's Lark Rise and Steeple Barton where
WG Hoskins wrote his classic The Making of the English Landscape.

We  have a limited number of places for Friends of the Manor House available @ £2 (payable on the night).    Please let me know as soon as you can if you would like to come.
